Our new Mobile Store arrived on the Island, bringing the full WightFibre Gigabit Island experience to communities across the Isle of Wight, with the opportunity to experience WightFibre’s full-fibre, ultrafast network and try before you buy.
The experience onboard included connectivity for laptops and latest VOIP phones for business and wireless charging for mobile devices. Home entertainment being demonstrated through a large flatscreen TV with XBOX One and Sony PS4 gaming plus NetGem TV, all in 4K with Dolby Surround sound for a fully immersive experience.
Based on the future-defining Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 (Euro 6) this 8.9m low floor, single deck bus was converted by Southampton based Qualiti Conversions, a family run business, arriving on the Island on Red Funnel’s new Red Kestrel.
The new mobile store made its debut at The Royal Isle of Wight County Show on June 29th and was then seen in Cowes, on the Parade during Cowes Week, where it proved a popular attraction.
